It is my little KT's birthday! And what makes this year extra special? we celebrated her birthday not once, but twice!
It was last weekend when 3 out 4 of husband's sibblings were around when we decided to have some makan-makan and they insisted to have an early birthday bash for this little girl as well.
KT got all excited when a birthday cake presented to her but the moment she saw the cheesecake, she went;
"kan adik nak kek warna pink!"
I remember she did tell me that she wanted a minnie mouse cake but due to time constraint, i only manage to grab a cash and carry cheesecake. Ok la tu kan? Tapi, kalau dah namanya ibu mithali..
"okay, nanti kita beli kek pink pulak ya..!" i said.
Days went by until yesterday when i suddenly realised that i forgot to order that special minnie mouse cake for her. Wayyy to go mama! As a result, terpaksalah kami berpuashati with a simple cake from the most friendly bakery nearby. If only i knew that they could not draw..
Tapi, meminjam kata-kata Barney, you just have to use a little imagination and creativity -- to get things into perspective, i started to modify the cake myself. Hasilnya? Tetaplah huduh kek anakanda-ku pagi itu, tapi cukuplah untuk menggembirakan hati kecilnya..
Sori Dik, mama definitely has to do better next year, insyaAllah. Happy 3rd Birthday Anyway!
